Vegan Friendly — Grindhaus savoury spreads

Bold. Savoury. Spread It On Everything.

Jam is sweet. Nutella is sweeter. Mass peanut butter tastes like cardboard with ambition. Your bread deserves better than all of them.

Grindhaus makes savoury spreads. The kind that make you stop mid-bite and actually think about what you're eating. Bold, layered, built for sourdough, dosa, roti, and every cracker you've been wasting on hummus.

Stone ground. Slow cooked. Real ingredients that actually taste like something.

Kaara Onion Relish

Onions slow-cooked for six hours until they collapse into something deep, jammy, and completely worth the wait.

Guntur and Byadgi chillies bring the heat and a slow, rounded warmth that builds without burning. Cold pressed coconut oil pulls it all together into something rich and savoury. A whisper of garlic and tamarind underneath seals the deal.

This is the jar that makes people text their friends about a spread. Put it on sourdough with aged cheddar and try to go back to jam.

HOW IT'S MADE

Stone Ground

Cold stone grinding keeps the natural oils intact. Those oils are where the flavour lives. High-heat industrial grinding kills them. Most packaged food accepts that trade-off. We refused.

Slow Roasted

All our spices and lentils are individually roasted at low temperatures for a longer time. This is the step that separates something that tastes cooked from something that tastes processed. It takes longer. It is absolutely worth it.

And Nothing Else - Pure Ingredients

Read the ingredient list. Every word is something you recognise. Every ingredient earns its place because it makes the spread taste better. That's the only criteria for anything going into a Grindhaus jar.

Prashanth, founder of Grindhaus, in the kitchen.

Hi, I'm Prashanth

I started Grindhaus because I wanted something bold on my bread. Something savoury and layered and worth paying attention to. Everything I picked up was either sweet, forgettable, or both.

So I started making spreads the way they should be made. Stone ground. Slow cooked. Real ingredients from people who grow them properly. The kind of food that makes you actually stop and taste what's in your mouth.

The only shortcut we take is your time. Never the flavour.
